The official trailer for HBO Max's HarryPotter reunion special will arrive tomorrow. Though author J.K. This year's 20th anniversary ofHarry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone has led to multiple WizardingWorld-related events, including the trivia show Hogwarts Tournament of Houses.Additionally, the first trailer for 2022's Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets ofDumbledore arrived just yesterday.

Perhaps most excitingly, the original castof Harry Potter is set to reunite in an upcoming HBO Max special. Announcedlast month, Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts will see numerousstars from all 8 films sit down to discuss the enduring legacy of the fantasyfranchise, as well as go behind the scenes in how it was made. The biggestselling point of the entire special is that, for the first time in years, themain trio of Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint will reuniteonscreen.

As announcedby HBO Max, the official trailer for the Harry Potter special will premiere onDecember 15. The news was accompanied by a poster depicting some familiarrowboats approaching Hogwarts. Return to Hogwarts will premiere on HBO Max onNew Year's Day.

So far, HBO Max has revealed a teasertrailer for the Harry Potter reunion, as well as an official image ofRadcliffe, Watson, and Grint sitting together once again. Presumably,tomorrow's trailer will provide actual looks at the special itself; whereas theteaser offered only tantalizing glimpses of stars like Robbie Coltrane andMatthew Lewis, the official trailer should hopefully include clips from theHarry Potter special. As the Golden Trio image confirmed, filming has alreadytaken place, so there should be ample footage to spotlight in the trailer.

Harry Potter remains one of the mostbeloved franchises out there even as Rowling continues to alienate fans. It'sbeen noted that Rowling will not appear in the Harry Potter reunion, though itisn't clear if that is exclusively because of her recent controversies. Manyfans are just happy to see those like Radcliffe, Watson, and Grint backtogether again; their presence alone will surely pull in plenty of viewers.Fans can get a better idea of how Return to Hogwarts will be structured whenthe trailer arrives tomorrow. Hopefully, it will be as magical as the WizardingWorld itself.
