小鼠波波喜欢去图书馆。
How lovely to look at a book in a nice quiet place.
待在一个舒适安静的角落看书，是一件多么幸福的事情。

今天，波波突然特别想看一本关于小鱼的书。
She found a flappy book about birds... but no fish.
她找到了一本关于小鸟的书，小鸟飞呀飞呀……但是，没有小鱼。
She found a shiny green book about turtles...
她找到了一本关于乌龟的书，绿色封面，闪闪发亮……

and a great big stripy book about tigers... but no fish!
还有一本关于老虎的书，封面很大，而且是条纹的……但是，没有小鱼！
Never mind, there are so many other things to do in the library...
没关系，在图书馆还有许多其他可以做的事情呢……

Use the computer...
使用电脑上网……
listen to music...
听音乐……
make a copy of your favourite picture..
复印你喜欢的图片……
look at the fish in the aquarium...
观赏鱼缸里的小鱼……

Aquarium？
鱼缸？
That's it! So Maisy looked by theaquarium...
就是它！于是，波波在鱼缸旁边找了找……
and that's exactly where she found a book about fish ...
and it was sparkly!
就是在那里，她找到了一本关于小鱼的书……

Maisy settled down to read in a quiet corner.
波波坐在一个安静的角落里看书。
But then Cyril and Tallulah came along...
但是，这个时候希瑞和塔露拉一起过来了……

and started laughing (at Tallulah's funny face!).
开始对着塔露啦的鬼脸笑。
And then Eddie came in...
然后，艾迪过来了……

and shouted "Story time!"
大叫道“讲故事的时间到啦！”
because Ostrich was going to tell a story in the story corner...
因为鸵鸟要在故事角给大家讲故事啦……
Maisy's quiet corner!
就是波波所在的那个安静的角落！

"There was an old woman, whoswalloweda fly..."
“有一位奶奶，她吞吃了一只苍蝇……”
Charley started laughing.
查理开始笑。

"She swallowed a dog to catch a cat!"
“她吞吃了一只狗，是为了抓住一只猫！”
Then everyone started laughing!
然后每个人开始笑！
